Sipea Cosmetics LLC — Cookie Settings & Choices
We use cookies and similar technologies to make this site work, improve your experience, and show relevant content. Below you can choose which cookie categories you allow. Essential cookies that make the site usable will always be active. You are in Turkey, and we handle cookies in line with the *General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)* and relevant EU privacy guidance.
How this page works
Turn a category ON/OFF to accept or refuse cookies in that category. Non-essential cookies are only set after you give explicit consent. Refusing non-essential cookies will not block access to the site, but it may reduce functionality (e.g., personalized content or analytics). Prior consent is required for non-strictly-necessary cookies.
We store a record of your cookie choices so we can respect them and demonstrate compliance if needed. The GDPR guidance expects controllers to keep records of informed consent.
Cookie categories (toggle these)
1. Necessary / Strictly required — Always active
• Purpose: Enable basic site functions (page navigation, secure sections, maintaining your session and language preference). These cookies do not require consent because they are necessary to provide the service you requested.
• Typical retention: Session (until browser closed) or up to 12 months for essential preferences.
• Examples: session\_id, csrf\_token.
• Why we use them: Keep the site secure and usable.
2. Functional — Enhances experience (opt-in)
• Purpose: Remember interface choices (language, region, accessibility preferences), keep your shopping-cart or form-state. These cookies improve your experience but are not essential.
• Typical retention: 6–24 months.
• What happens if you turn off: Some convenience features may stop working.
3. Performance & Analytics — Helps us improve (opt-in)
• Purpose: Collect aggregated/anonymous usage data (pageviews, load times, errors) so we can improve site performance and product pages. Data is processed in a way to minimize personal identification. We rely on your explicit consent before using these.
• Typical retention: 3–25 months (we list the specific retention per cookie below).
• Examples: Google Analytics \_ga, \_gid (if enabled).
• Notes: Analytics cookies are considered non-essential and must be disabled unless you consent. We record and store your consent.
4. Personalization & Marketing — Personalised content & ads (opt-in)
• Purpose: Deliver personalized product recommendations, retargeting, and measure campaign performance. These cookies may be set by us or by trusted third parties and can involve cross-site tracking.
• Typical retention: 1–24 months depending on provider.
• What happens if you turn off: You’ll see less personalized content and non-targeted ads.
• Third parties: May include advertising networks and social platforms. We will only enable these cookies after explicit consent.
Example cookie table (show on site; link each cookie to provider & retention)

(Replace with the actual cookies found in your audit; show provider privacy links.)
Third-party cookies & data sharing
Some cookies are set by third parties (analytics, social widgets, ad platforms). We list the provider, purpose and link to their privacy pages in the cookie table above. If a third party processes personal data, we rely on your consent (or other lawful basis where stated) and ensure contractual protections are in place where required by *GDPR*. The GDPR also requires controllers to disclose third-party processing and transfers.
International transfers
If cookie processing involves transfer of personal data outside Turkey or the EEA, we will only transfer under legal safeguards required by *GDPR* (e.g., explicit consent, standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions). The personal data protection framework requires careful handling of cross-border transfers.
Retention & deletion
We keep cookie data only as long as necessary for the purpose described (retention periods shown in the cookie table). You can delete cookies at any time from your browser or change your choices on this page. For data derived from cookies that we treated as personal data (e.g., when linked to an account), you can request erasure subject to legal exceptions. The GDPR guidance asks controllers to state retention periods clearly.
Your rights (under GDPR)
As a data subject, you have rights including:
• Right to learn whether your personal data is processed;
• Right to request information about processing;
• Right to access the personal data;
• Right to request correction, deletion, or anonymization;
• Right to object to processing;
• Right to request transfer of your data;
• Right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
To exercise your rights, contact us (details below). We will respond within the timeframes required by GDPR.
How to change or withdraw consent
1. Use the toggles on this page to change your cookie preferences at any time. Your updated choice will be saved and respected.

If you refuse cookies — what to expect
You can refuse any non-essential cookie and still use core areas of the site. Some features (personalized recommendations, login persistence, analytics) may be reduced or disabled.
Legal basis & compliance notes
• Strictly necessary cookies: performance of the service requested — do not require consent.
• Other cookies (analytics, marketing, personalization): we rely on explicit consent (freely given, informed, specific, and unambiguous). The GDPR requires prior informed consent before setting these cookies.
We also follow best practices from EU ePrivacy/GDPR guidance regarding prior consent, granular choices, and easy withdrawal, as recommended for cross-border compliance.

If you’d like, I can:
• Generate a shorter privacy-compliant cookie banner text for the site header;
• Produce an exportable cookie table (CSV) listing actual cookies found on your site (you’d need to paste your cookie audit results);
• Provide suggested wording for the CMP acceptance logs (consent receipts) to store in your database.
